Mahadewi is a duet Indonesian music group whose members Shinta Dewi (Tata) and Purie Andriani (Purie). This group is under the auspices of the Republic of Love Management is led by Ahmad Dhani.

Formation Duo Mahadewi can not be separated from the vocal group travel Dewi Dewi. Having abandoned one of its personnel Agustine Kamarie Carolina (Ina), Dewi Dewi started rocking. Because never found a replacement that fits, Ahmad Dhani Dewi Dewi as the initiator of the group officially disbanded in December 2008. Dewi Dewi remaining personnel, Tata and Purie given the freedom to pursue a solo career or establish a new group. Finally Tata and Purie chose to form a new group called Mahadewi.

Mahadewi of Love album is the first music album by duo Mahadewi The album was officially released on February 27, 2008. The first single on this album is "Sumpah I Love You".
